The best way to end the work week

It's always great when a farm visit or "destination meeting" falls on a Friday. This past Friday, we had a local foods meeting in northeast Indiana, hosted by Pete Eshelman, owner of restaurant Joseph Decuis in Roanoke. Not only is Pete a restaurant owner, but also a farmer. His Wagyu beef cattle reside a few miles from the restaurant at the farm that also hosts local events and even weddings. Such a picturesque farm.

After the meeting, Pete was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm and of the restaurant. If you are ever in or near Roanoke, Indiana, I highly recommend you check this place out. The farm offers tours by appointment only, so be sure to plan ahead on that part.
