Wordless Wednesday: Views From the Tractor

I love hay season! I also love when my brother lets me help with it. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let these photos do the talking. It was an amazing week!

This is a side window view of the tedder, which kicks up the hay to help dry it out before it's raked and baled
My brother let me ride along! So proud of him, he's doing awesome with the farm.
Tedding the back field on our property
The neighbor snapped this picture of us baling hay...you CAN'T beat that view of Mt. Rainier!
Swathing (mowing) the front field
Waiting for my brother to finish up mowing the field, so I take pictures with the other tractors. This is the small John Deere with the sprayer (white thing with orange arms) attached to it
Please be careful around farm equipment on the roads! They can't go as fast as you can.
Spraying corn the first time a while ago. This corn will eventually be chopped for corn silage and fed to dairy cows
The corn sure has grown since the last time he sprayed it (above). It's looking good! I wish the same could be said about Indiana corn, this has been a devastating year for a lot of crop fields with all of the rain.
