My Story

Hi! I'm Kimmi. I grew up on my family's farm an hour from Seattle where we now raise beef cows and make hay. Grandpa was a dairy farmer for a majority of his life and we grew up showing dairy cattle in 4-H shows across the state. My brother runs the farm these days and also does a lot of custom farming work for others in our community (mostly hay and corn silage). I love the dairy cows and enjoy spending weekends on my friends' dairies milking cows, feeding calves and helping out.

After graduating from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) with degrees in dairy production management and agricultural communications, I moved to Indiana for a job in the dairy industry. I've had a few different jobs over the years, but all have involved working with farmers on various things ranging from milk quality to public relations.

Aside from dairy cows, my passion is connecting with consumers about modern agriculture. I started this blog in 2012 because I was tired of seeing all of the misinformation out there about agriculture and wanted to join the conversation. There's so much involved in agriculture and I don't know everything, but I hope you enjoy following along on my adventures and our family farm.

If you are on Facebook, follow along on my adventures! There's never a dull moment.

  2. The fourth strategy which can be utilized is instagram followers and following records that are like the ones that one should target. This will bring about many individuals seeing and potentially exploring the item or administration and could alter their perspective on getting it after they had an underlying glance at whatever it is.

  3. The third most ideal way is utilizing hashtags to make more deals. Instagram permits you to put seven hashtags under each post, so this would be another choice in case one was contemplating how to expand deals on Instagram.
