During the last few weeks, I've become obsessed with canning. I'm not sure why I haven't canned anything until this year. In last week's post, I told you about some of my adventures from this first canning experience.
While I'm definitely not a canning expert (far from it), I am gaining some confidence around the pressure cooker and it still hasn't blown anything up! I spent most of the day today canning more green beans and apple pie filling. Canned green beans have always been my favorite, especially when cooked with bacon.
My kitchen was spotless until this morning and now it's a sticky mess, but now my counters are covered with mason jars full of green beans and apples. Good stuff!
